INVENTORY OF ARBORIZAÇÃO OF 12 SQUARES IN TOWN OF ITUVERAVA-SP

Abstract

This study aimed to make the inventory trees, quantifying and qualifying 12 squares in the city of Ituverava. In the present study utilized is the map of the municipality of Ituverava, to the characterization and identification of areas of study, the method being used census. Other information considered important were cataloged: location, diversity of species and total number of copies arbóreos. The total individual was 435. On 3 squares, 52% was of the kind Michelia champaca, 2 squares have 100% of Thuja orientalis young, 2 squares have 29% of Roystonea oleraceae, 1 square is 100% of Syagrus romanzoffiana; at 3 squares 23.5% of the trees were with podas drastic. Of the 35 species found 16 had a frequency less than 1%, and 18 species are exotic and 17 native. It is concluded that the main problem encountered was the podas made without technical criterion other problem is that there are squares with 1 single species.
